The Winning Picture

this picture wraps up my immersion experience last july.

2 weeks in the area was a blast! it was a roller coaster ride. imagine living in a house with people you are not familiar with and doing all the chores. imagine cooking with no gas stove. imagine no running water, and you'll have to get water from the cartesian well if you need it. imagine no television or radio for two whole weeks (minus sundays). yeah, i survived it.

that was my melodramatic life in cordova. it was like pinoy big brother minus the cameras. it was fun though. what i didn't like was the heat. grabe, i was so tan when i got back. hehe

having that immersion made me do things that i thought i would not be able to do. say, i cooked? not really but at least i did help in marinating and stuff. i'd like to believe that i improved my cooking skills. teehee.

i thank God for being with me the whole time. i still can't believe that i survived. :)
