First Entry for 2009!

WOOOOOOOT! BOOOM!
2009 is finally here and we can't help but accept that another year has passed. We can't deny the fact that we're getting older each year. But that doesn't matter at all, cos we really are going there. What really matters, for me, is that we grow wiser and learn something from the past years.

Nothing really important happened last year. More or less, it was a year with so many firsts. First New Year that we're not celebrating with lola, first death anniversary of lola tresing, first beach Christmas, Tim-tim's first birthday and so on. But there was a turning point it my life that happened last 2008, and that was taking the NMAT. Heck, that wasn't easy granting i didn't have enough preparations and it wasn't really my plan to take the NMAT yet. And this NMAT will determine my future. Duh. And it's like my mincing step to being a doctor.

Nonetheless, 2008 was a great one! It has it's ups and downs, adventures and misadventures, trials and triumphs and victories and failures. I believe that all that happened, happened for a reason and meant to teach us a lesson. We just have to see the brighter side of life! :) I still believe that i'm lucky because God didn't let us mourn on New Year's Eve or Christmas Eve. Thank You Lord for putting things into perspective. :)

Hopefully, this 2009 i would be better than my old self. I wish tatay would quit smoking. And that there would be less wars, calamities and hunger.

With high spirits and open arms, i accept the challenges that this year would bring. So help me God.

There are two things i'm looking forward for in 2009:
Graduation and Board Exams! Geez.
